The availability, qualification of local labour is a important factor for any decision of new location or for running a company.

The Euro-China Centre for Economic and Technical Cooperation offers the European companies, which are going to enter Chinese market or are active in China, special personnel service:

• preparing qualified craftsmen, skilled labourers

• preparing professionals and young Europeans with leadership potential

Preparing professionals and young Europeans with leadership potential

Doing business in China or cooperating with Chinese partners need personnel with intercultural competence. Beside the technical and commercial competence, the intercultural know-how is crucial for the China activities. This is especially critical for the managers.

Stakes are very high demands on the company staff. In addition to technical competence are in the business daily especially. This applies to all levels of management, including specialists and junior executives.

Since 1999 the Euro-China Centre offers a special training program „Internship in China“ to young European professionals and students with leadership potential. Many European young people have qualified through this special training program for leading positions in European companies.
The ECV recommends high qualified personnel to European companies according to their requirements.

Preparing qualified craftsmen, skilled labourers

In cooperation with institutions of vocational education and technical training from Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium, the Ecf has established a European Network for Vocational Education and Technical Training. The purpose of European Network for Vocational Education and Technical Training is to prepare high-qualified new staffs for European enterprises in China. With the support of the local Chinese authorities, European Network for Vocational Education and Technical Training has set up several training centres with the most specialties (occupations and branches of industry) in south China.

The European Network for Vocational Education and Technical Training uses the worldwide renowned German dual system of vocational training to prepare the trainees for European companies in China. After finishing their usually education (for example, a 3 year vocational education in Chinese vocational school), the apprentices have several months special vocational training in the Training centres of the European Network for Vocational Education and Technical Training and then have several months practical training in European companies in China or in companies in Germany, the Netherlands and Belgium. The training programs cover the most the most specialties (occupations and branches of industry).

In this way highly qualified craftsmen, skilled labourers and engineers are prepared for European enterprises in China.

Besides, special educational and training programs are made according to the special requirements of European companies in China.
